CORTEX held its final consortium meeting

Consortium meeting template-01

Following the final CORTEX workshop on the demonstration of the methods for reactor noise analysis against plant data, project partners attended the final consortium meeting that took place on 23 June 2021 in a virtual format.

Christophe Demazière, CORTEX’s coordinator, kicked off the meeting explaining the goals: giving an overview of achievements of each work package, and planning the upcoming steps and actions, including the preparation of the final reporting.

The sessions were dedicated to work package presentations showcasing the progress made. WP1 focused on the developed solvers and the code-to-code comparison exercices. WP2 presented the CROCUS and AKR-2 validation exercises. WP3 did not participate in this final meeting as their work ended in February 2021. WP4 addressed the outcome of the machine learning exercises on the new time-domain data for the Swiss Pre-KONVOI reactor. WP5 reported on the different courses and workshops organised by CORTEX and gave an overview of the dissemination efforts: 15 journal publications, 35 conference papers, 23 presentations, 5 posters and a special issue to be prepared and published after the end of the project. Finally, WP6 focused on the next steps to prepare the final periodic reporting.

A virtual coffee to facilitate informal discussions, as well as a meeting with the Advisory End-User Group were organised during the meeting.

Christophe Demazière closed the meeting by thanking all partners for their efforts in the CORTEX project despite the Covid situation that prevented project partners from having in person meetings during the last year of the project.
